hi guys i wanted to share this with you, today we baptised a man on his 70th birthday, the reason this is so special to me apart from the obvious reason is that this man is a methodist lay preacher and he loves the lord with all his heart, when he speaks he has my full attention and his message always cuts to the bone.. well all that said and done i have personally been through quite a bit of opposition with the style of christianity i preach, and baptism days like the one we just had if i had obeyed my critics desires would never have happened.
Well when i think about it and all the crazy religious notions that are around at the moment, i am glad that we can be a people who are not called by the name of any organisation or denomination, im glad we are catholic, pentacostal, baptist, anglican and methodist and yet none of these.. we will continue to be available to everyone whatever the name may be, available to pray for the sick and baptise into the name of Jesus, the name that knows no human rules.
